EVENT PLANNING INFORMATION
Urban Wineworks is a winery, tasting room, retail wine shop, and event facility in Downtown
Portland at NW 16th & Flanders. The winery offers a rustic, yet contemporary environment,
appropriate for any size of event. Contact our Event Coordinator, Leigh Brown, at

 Days/Hours
Regular business hours are Monday-Saturday 12:00-8:30pm, Sunday 12:00-6:00pm
Events are welcomed any hours of any day, subject to availability
7-day notice is required

Space
Total area - 3,000 sq ft; Private Tasting Room - 500 sq ft
Capacity - Total: 150 guests; Private Tasting Room: 20-30 guests
Off street parking; Close to bus stops; Bus and limousine accessible
Reservation Guarantee
Upon receipt of non-refundable deposit and signed event agreement
Wine availability
From our winery: Bishop Creek Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, vintage wines & blending wines - see Price List. We also offer boutique wines from other small producers of various varieties and regions. Other wines, (including sparkling) & malt beverages by special request
Outside Beverages
Non-alcoholic beverages can be pre-arranged by caterer; Distilled beverages not permitted
Set-Up
150 wine glasses, three 3’x6’ wood tables, 18 wood chairs, 16 stools, and 8-10 barrels are available, depending on space use. Extra tables, serving ware, equipment, and supplies can be arranged with caterer or provided by host. Food may be brought in by host or arranged with caterer. Event Budgeting Information
Typical range of charges: $300 - $1200, depending on size of event, time, date, set-up, cleaning, and whether or not the entire space is used exclusively or non-exclusively. See contract for details of nonexclusive use.
Charges may include:
$300 - $2,250 wine purchase minimum
$50 - $300 cleaning & additional labor deposit
$500 - $900 exclusive use fee
Scheduled Use Rate:
Charges apply for use beyond regular business hours, per the following guidelines:
$50 per hour, per employee for non-regular hours;
1 employee per 30 guests required; (3 maximum)
Gratuity: 18% on beverage service
Balance due: Deposit required to reserve space; balance due at the conclusion of event.

Visit wine country without the drive, barrel paintings by local artists
Event space layout may change through the various winemaking seasons
Live music permitted & encouraged; 5-CD Stereo System available
